Hollywood’s brightest stars took to the red carpet this week for the 2014 Emmy Awards. The biggest names of the small screen arrived in style in their designer dresses and perfectly polished hair, and  we’ve picked out the celebs who we think were best dressed.

This year we saw a mix of styles, from Kelly Osbourne’s edgy lilac quiff to Kaley Cuoco’s simple pixie crop and Kate Mara’s perfectly tousled bob. And it wasn’t just the hair styles that were mixed, the dresses were too. We saw ball gowns, two-pieces with a crop top like Sarah Hyland, lace and silk, short like Julia Roberts, and floor length like Halle Berry. It’s a tough choice to crown this year’s best dressed!
