In winter our hair can often go a little crazy – what with the wind, cold temperatures and central heating!
But there are a few things you can do to help keep your locks in good shape until the Summer.
Always dry your hair fully! In Summer it’s so easy to go out with damp hair but in the winter this can be really damaging because of the cold. So before you head out, make sure you leave enough time for your hair to air dry, or blow dry using a heat protector!
Using Moroccanoil or Macadamia Healing Oil is good too as it actually quickens up the drying process!
Treatments & Masks are your best friend in winter, especially oil treatments which add instant moisture to the ends of your hair. Try using a deep conditioning hair mask once a week to restore nutrients back into your hair that the cold air can often take out. Our favourites are Macadamia Deep Repair Masque and Milk_shake Active Milk Mask which both smell absolutely divine!
Regular trims are a must in winter too, even if you’re growing your hair. Our hair can suffer from split ends easily in winter, so regular trims can reduce them so your hair stays in good condition to grow longer.
Hat hair is something we all hate, so a little tip is to secure your hair in the opposite direction that you want it to fall when you remove your hat. Putting your hair against the way your style will naturally fall helps it to spring back when you take the hat off!
